At the Good Helper Foundation, we are deeply grateful for the incredible generosity of our donors and grant funders. Your compassion and support are the fuel that drives our mission of addressing homelessness and food insecurity among Maine’s immigrant and refugee population.
Our Funders
Maine Community Foundation
Through multiple grant rewards, MCF has empowered us through one-on-one coaching, professional development, and operational funds.
Through this much-needed support, we’ve become more organized and better able to comply with state and federal requirements. This, in turn, better enables us to meet our mission and help our community.
Good Shepherd Food Bank
This grant allowed us to support immigrants and low-income families struggling with food insecurity. We used the funds for our food distribution program, which provides nourishing and traditional foods, while also supporting local small businesses and farmers.
Grass Roots Fund

Fidelity Charitable
GHF was able to use these grant funds to finish the application for the boarding house project by paying the state fees for the planning board approval.
