Good Helper Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping those dealing with homelessness and food insecurity through a vast array of programs and services.
Our Programs & Services
Boarding Home
GHF is in the process of renovating two boarding homes — one in Auburn and the other in Gorham — to help those facing homelessness get back on their feet.
Case Management
GHF case managers work with families in need to craft a personally-tailored action plan to reach their goals of stable housing and employment.
Rental Subsidies
We provide short-term rental subsidies to help families afford the rent for their new homes as they look for and secure stable employment
Food Distribution
We offer quarterly food distribution (every 3 months) to qualifying families in need to help them make ends meet as inflation causes food prices to surge.
Housing Assistance
We support immigrants through the rental process, filling out applications, negotiating with landlords, and helping them move into their new home.
Transportation Program
We provide transportation to important appointments and events, such as apartment viewings, job interviews, and immigration hearings.
