The Youth 70 Hours Behind-the-Wheel Training Program by Good Helper Foundation (GHF) is designed to help young people complete the 70 hours of supervised driving practice required to qualify for graduation and obtain their driver’s license.
Many youth—especially those from low-income families, single-parent households, immigrant families, and other underserved communities—struggle to find a qualified adult, a reliable vehicle, or the time needed to complete these required hours. As a result, many face unnecessary delays in becoming licensed, limiting their access to employment, education, and other opportunities.
Through this program, Good Helper Foundation provides trained volunteer mentors, a safe and insured vehicle, and structured driving practice to help participants become confident, responsible, and law-abiding drivers.
We are seeking financial support to cover vehicle maintenance, insurance, fuel, training materials, and program coordination so that our trainers can dedicate the time needed to serve these young drivers.
