At The Good Helper Foundation, we firmly believe that the best decisions are made with you. Who better to help us improve our driving assistance program than the very women at the heart of it?

We are incredibly proud to officially announce the launch of our brand-new Student Advisory Committee!

A Committee By and For Our Drivers

This committee brings together current students, applicants on the waiting list, and finalists of our program. Together, they will share their experiences, suggestions, and constructive feedback to help us build a service that is even more effective, accessible, and perfectly tailored to the real needs of our immigrant community.

During their very first meeting, the participants took a major step forward by electing a 4-member board to lead this group with brilliant leadership!

Their Role & Responsibilities:

These 4 inspiring leaders are stepping up to:

  • Organize meetings (either in-person or via Zoom) once or twice a month.
  • Share their experiences to inspire and guide others.
  • Mentor and advise new participants as they begin their journey toward independence.
  • Help GHF measure the real impact of the program on the lives of the women we support.

Why is this such great news?

This committee is not just a discussion group—it is a true decision-making partner! Their valuable feedback and insights will directly guide our strategic choices to refine our driving program and pave the road to independence for even more women.

A massive thank you to all the participants for their commitment, strength, and leadership. Together, we are driving toward a more inclusive and supportive future!
